      Does device show in device manager under control panel . If so right click on device and disable then re-enable . If not device driver needs to be installed .

          have you installed the drivers correctly?
          your S.O?32 or 64 bit?

                  a what you you when you enter a device manager?
                  is there a question mark, or everything's looking proper installed?
