Please tell me your system and configurations.
      1. You have to use a separate plugin look posts above

      2. NOT ALL SKYSTAR II have DiseqC 1.2 capabilities, it depends of revision.

For example i had a skystarr 2 rev 2.3 which does not suppor DiseqC 1.2, or at least most users say so and i never managed to do it

DiseqC 1.2 is not implemented for skystar 2 by dvbviewer.
But i tell you what, i have ss2 Rev. 2.3 which had no problems under xp with DiseqC 1.2 commands.

I think the problem under win7 is the following. For me it is impossible to open the tool device info/config of altdvb, where you adjust your card especially the choosen driver.

SS2 HD work very well with dvbviwer 4.9

          The changelog in revision 4.9:

Add: Skystar USB HD with WDM driver: Enabled Diseqc 1.2 for this device.

It must work, I won't believe its not working. As you have been asking for that Go to satellite position, I've tested it and its workin with no problem. See ******* link. I cant upload *.avi or *.rar files, dont know why.

              hi mirny,
do you have access to tools device info/config and do you know where changes of that position wil be stored? Under win 7 i cant open the configuration of device in altdvb.

Re: Skystar 2 and Rotor - which Player?

No I have no access to device info/config. I've never been searching for where are positions stored (Hope you mean SS2DiSEqC plugin, not internal AltDVB DiSEqC console, or?)

I'm not qiute sure what exactlly you mean with this -> Under win 7 i cant open the configuration of device in altdvb.

Re: Skystar 2 and Rotor - which Player?

yeah, thats what im talking about. Under XP using skystar 2 in altdvb you are able to change some device configs like driver (e.g. 440 or MiBi s driver).
                  (altdvb - tools - device info/config ...)
Win7 doesnt allows it. So i remember that i ve choosen MiBis driver in config of altdvb but now i cant change it anymore.
Perhabs that is the reason of diseqc problem.
                  Please push thanks.

Yes under W7 on SS2 I can't access it, but in W7 with BDA driver on SSHD2USBCI I'm able to access this option. Have tryed to access it with your
                    S2 device?

I will try to find, where are this settings stored, but im not telling, that i will be successfull, but I will try.

yeah, i tried it with both. So it seems that this config options depends on hardware.

I've been looking for that, and I found something, try to look in to AltDVB\Configs\Options.cfg, there are some option about [Diseqc]
And I've got another question for you, when you've been downloading that SDK device driver, does that directory contains a skydll.dll file, and does it register Sky2PCAVSrc.ax file successfully?

yeah, in the options.cfg you are able to edit the same things like in altdvb -> settings ... its independent from the tool device info/edit.

And yeah Sky2PCAVSrc.ax successfully registered but it was a little bit strange with the skydll.dll. I fount it in Technisat/bin folder where i replaced the Sky2PCAVSrc.ax and registered it.
