The last one on author web site.
        You can find drivers on:
        _http://www.technisat.co.uk/index52ea.html?nav=Sat_DVB_S_,co,1294131238891

Look for your model and download the one you need.
        Regards.

DISEqC 1.2 is not supported by DVBviewer for a Skystar 2.

Please tell me your system and configurations.

Re: Skystar 2 and Rotor - which Player?

Im using AltDVB, in XP an in Win7 aswell, rotor is working in both operating system.
I've got Win7 64bit, win driver is 1.0.5.702 from date 3.7.2009, Im using Alt DVB ver. 2.2.0 build3912, Dev.BDA Driver wich im using is 0.2.0.10. My dish mover is Stab HH-90 and with this combination is it working good.
Otherwise DVBviewer pro 4.2.1.0 have no problem with motor too.

What type of motor exactly are you using?
                  HD-BOX FS-9200,SkyStar HD2 USB CI, Skystar2 90Fe Motor, 85Al Multifeed

This configuration is for win xp. try driver 4.6.0 for win 7 or use windows xp mode for this or vmware workstation 7 as virtual machine and install xp on it.

read and install from this site. it must work.

and for your other question, you must use DVB Viewer "PRO" <- This version is without limitations. Free version is not the solution.

DVB Viewer aswell as the "Pro" doesnt support motor for a skystar2.
I cant choose the positioner in transedit ...

My motor is sg2100, which is integrated in Alt dvb.
Altdvb with wdm drivers is very fast. But all players with bda are slower. Can you confirm that?

Hello there pat3, I've got definitive solution for you as well as for others.
With this configuration, You'll be able to control your motor with old XP plugin SS2DiSEqC, in Win7 !!!!!

1: Install WDM Driver 4.6.0.9999 as a network interface [No BDA Driver]
                          2: Copy dev_SS2SDK.int in to AltDVB\Devices
3: Register Sky2PCAVSrc.ax with Register_Sky2PCAVSrc.ax.bat in Raw DiSEqC support directory.
                          4: Start AltDVB 2.2
5: Choose Dev_SS2SDK device, type: Skystar RAW Diseqc or Skystar Full TS RAW Diseqc
                          6: Unpack SS2DISEqC plugin
                          7: Run It
8: Configure your type of motor, latitude, longtitude, etc... Press APPLY
                          9: Enjoy It.

I'm using this configuration and I can say it is 100% working! See attached pictures. If something went wrong read info.txt and readme.txt
Now you can use your Skystar2 card with all DVB apps.
                          Attached Files
                          HD-BOX FS-9200,SkyStar HD2 USB CI, Skystar2 90Fe Motor, 85Al Multifeed

                            hi mirny,
so until step 7 i already did. When im starting step 8 following error occurs:
Drag & Drop directory with your satellite ini files to the main application window.
Seems that it is not important, but how ist your configuration of ss2diseqc especiall device (skynet is not actual driver) ?

Is your ss2diseqc.exe in a special folder?

Are you able to switch between sats by using "Go to satellite position" ?

                            thanks man
                            Please push thanks.

Hello, you are right it is not neccesary to add this dir, but what you should do is, find directory with transponders [*.ini] (AltDVB\Satfiles\Transponders, DVBViewer\Transponders, etc...) it will be good if transponders are updated. Just drag&drop it to the window as shown on picture DD.jpg
                              That error should dissapear now.

My configuration of SS2DiSEqC is like this:
Type of motor Stab HH, because i've got Stab , you should choose SG2100 as I remeber you've go this one, than you can try generic aswell.
Range: you need to know how many place you've got.
Other three can check, DISEqC Timing and Startup Delay can give 100ms [we dont want wait so long] if motor will be doing some weird thing, you can inscrease timings. Position: hope you know what to place
And then PLUGIN: I've got it like this:
                              Confirm motor driving - checked
Startup LNB off - not checked
                              Current Plugin - checked
                              Sleep SS2 - not checked
                              Use SDP4 - checked
                              Device:SKYNET
                              Dont forget press APPLY.
ss2diseqc.exe and ss2diseqc.dll is not placed in any special folder, you can put it wherever you want, but for sure I've got it in plugin directory, but it doesnt matter.

As i can tell you truth, I've never been using Go to satellite position, actually I'm in work so I cant test. Tomorow I can let you know, but I think it should work too. Im just usig Goto x.x and Send. So hope it will work correct now.
Dont forget this settings are for Stab HH motor. So you should customize it for your type. Bye.
