Does anyone know what is the diference betwin:

Skystar S2 (DVB-S2) Price:47€

Skystar USB 2 HD + CI (DVB-S2) Price:94€
all cards have remote


and can I use MiBi plugin to drive a motor with any of those card, or does those cards support Goto x.xฐ software.

I don't think any Skystar S2 supports DVS-S2 Full HD, and personally i wouldn't buy USB based receivers.

Well I order Skystar HD2 + remote and it will cost about 71€, so now I need to wait couple of days for it to arrive.

I just hope it will work fine and I could use some plugin like MiBi for motor...



After I post first message I read abouth Skystar S2 and as I was understand it is basicli SS2 with DVB-S2 tuner on it, but due to old design it cant open complete DVB-S2 tp, but just abouth 30-35Mbit so if you whant to watch PiP HD you can watch 2 windows but not 3, and it doesnt come with some limitator so if you use motor it can burn card (it doesnt happend alot but it is posibility)...

With sky star 2 HD and DVB dream you can see 6 windoes (six )chanel wit PIP if you have more c line and a stong configuration of computer.

naiarty you have to state that this is only possibly if all the channels are on one transponder because (as i know) no skystar has more then one antenna input

Skystar HD2 - this is a last card, and with it we can see everything (HD, 3D,....)? And is this card 64 or 71 EUR?

Yes Iam from Cro but I order it by Express so they will charge 7€ then it will be 71€ not 64€. So in shop it cost 64€.

SkyStar 2 supports stream HD but in format DVB-S and here TT S2 3200 also accepts a stream in format DVB-S2

Skystar USB 2 HD + CI is the best.because it is usb2 interface and in latest motherboards and laptops that dont have pci, can be used.
also it support cam to view scrambled channels.

I have never tried an usb Skystar USB HD2, I supouse that performance or efficiency is the same as Skystar PCI HD2. I imagine that USB speed is enough to work with this device. The common interface is interesting, but not definitive, because of sharing.
If you are work with HADU or another Cccam PC emulator you don't need a common interface device, but it is another option if you decide to pay per view tv in order to insert the smartcard into your computer.

Perhaps, today is more effective Skystar USB HD2 without CI than the CI one.
The USB device with CI is 30 euro expensive than the "single" version.

I agree with you about the last motherboards or laptops without PCI slots, but I have a PCI HD2 SStar and the performance is absolutely perfect.

The best of all is that we can choose the best one for each one of us, because there are four options, but I think the best option is the HD2 version because it is the newest from Technisat.

So we must remember that this device can sharing as a Dreambox or another similar Set Top Box Sat linux based device, but SkyStar HD2 can do it in Windows XP/Vista/7 versions. Thats is very important, because you don't need learn Linux to configure your sat receiver.
