    its work fine with kaffeine normaly in ubuntu detect automatcly the carte and without driver

      as ramailo said. works without installing drivers (v4l is embedded in ubuntu).
      i have had some serious problems with scanning sat and transponders in mythbuntu. the card never got an lock.
      scan -o vdr -p -x 0 Astra-19.2E > channels.conf
      is a workaround for this. try searching on ****** if you`ve got the same probs

        Try kaffeine.it is great and use built in channel scanner of it.
