doesnt work either. tried it under win 7 x64. my skystar is not listed.
tried it with and without administrative privileged. no change

You not have to double post for the same thing.

You have a reset button to reset the device, running under administrative privilages works just fine for me.

It is easy to one click reset then going to My Computer -> Device Manager ...

I only use reset, and it works fine

As a tip you have to check the skystar from list before reset

i have to disable and enable the skystar in device manager. Is this the same act as the tool does?
where do i find the reset possiblity?

hi pat3. this one works as an replacement for the device manager "trick".
it does the same thing but with just 1-2 clicks.
you have to start the application with administrator rights. in the main window you have to tick your card and hit the reset button.

for me this program is not working, like i said previous post. maybe its working for you. good luck

The instructions made by os222 are correct follow them and please inform us if this working fine for you, i've tested this tool on 2 cards and is working fine for me

yeah, it work on a ss2 rev. 2.3.
Does it enables and disables the device?

Try to look on device manager and refresh with F5 while reseting, i'd never tested to see what in fact is doing after all, i just use it when my image freezes or when the card mallfunction

Just use the refresh icon from Device Manager :P

More important is if it is working when your card freezes or not ?

easy said thats exactly the thing that the Reset Tool does
But it helps you doing this with just 2 clicks not 10 ...

You could also try to set start it off before your prefered dvb viewer starts with a batch file so that you doesnt have to call it by yourself

Yes but it has no command parameters instead look here about using powershell for enablind/disabling networkcards
