I suggest you are asking about best plugin for work with newcamd protocol with M$ Windows, app like DVBDream, DVBViewer, AltDVB, ProgDVB. MyTheater or same. In this case the best choice is acamd or so called Satlover CCCam

To configure acamd you have to place archive contents in PLUGINS folder of your app and edit cardclient.conf:

As a matter of facts acamd is in my opinion the best: more stable, with a lot of abilities of filtering and so on...

How Besit have talked, the Acamd and WinCSC are valid for Newcamd. Acamd is very easy of config and WinCSC is little more complicate. You prove with Acamd and if you want here you have a little manual for WinCSC:

- Copy WinCSC plugin in folder plugin of your DVB Player
- Open your DVB Player and go to Plugins > WinCSC > Monitor
- Click Enable
- Click in add and then it will appear a new window
- In this window you indicate
* Server Name (yourself)
* Protocol Type (Newcamd)
* Version (5.25, 5.00)
* Host (IP or host)
* Priority
* User
* Pasword
* Des Key (01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14)
- When complete all you click in add, then it will appear a new window again
* Indicate the port
* Click in get cardData
* Click OK
- Click OK again in the previous window
- Finally in the window of WinCSC you double click in server then to activate the server

It will be interesting in the next plugins update, for french user, to be able to manage the french accents in the Header and Footer settings.
