DVBLink TVSource with EPG scan - beta 2!
What is new/fixed:
- Network scan compatibility
- More reliable recognition of channel names
- Fixed several issues with parsing of EIT packets for some transport streams
- Added statistics for the scanned EPG data
Important!! You need to update dvblinkserver.exe prior to the installation of this new beta! To do this stop DVBlink Server Windows service and copy the dvblinkserver.exe from the zip file over your existing one (do not forget to make a copy of it). Then start DVBLink Server Windows service again.
Update your existing DVBLink TVSource installation using enclosed bat file or run msi file in case of new installation.
This beta has the ID of the EPG channels changed! This means that you need to go to EPG Sources tab of DVBLink Server Configuration utility and set the mapping of all channels mapped to eitscanner channels to None. Then press Ok button to close configurator. Then start configurator again, do the EPG scan and map channels again.
We have also seen that time to scan a single transponder can be as long as 2 minutes. So depending on the way how EPG data is sent on the transponders that you are using the scan may take anywhere between 2 and 15 minutes
