Is it possible to programm keys from another device to this remote control? For example when I switch to TV mode I want use some keys to work with my Logitech z5500 5.1 speakers or it will work only with TV?

The Dreambox remote control can be programmed (without a programmer) to work with your TV.
This is done through the bShift button on top of the remote ctrl.
You need to enter 4 digit code that is copatiable with your TV set.
The same remote ctrl can then be used for both Dreambox and TV.

If yo do not know your TV code.

1.Push the “TV” button on your DM control once
2.Keep the “setup-SHIFT” button pressed until the red led of "TV" button flashes twice
3.Type the code: 9 9 1 (if you know your TV code enter it here)
4.Push the buttons “Power ON-OFF” and “TV”
(in this sequence: first “Power ON-OFF” and then “TV” )
alternately until your tv-set switches off.
You have to be patient with this step.
5.When your tv-set switches off push the button “setup-SHIFT” once.
With this step your remote keeps the code of your tv into the memory.

If you do not know your TV code,
In some cases you have to push this button combination up to 100 times.

but dm 800 hd remote control accept 4-digit codes, not 3

You are right.
That is exactly what I also know.

But I think that in this method he is using the code 991 as a code serch mode for people who do not know the code.
I have not tried it myself.

Personally I prefer to enter the correct 4 digit code.

I remember to have read somewhere that this could be 0030, 0031, 0032, 0033 or 0034.
If no others answer, have you tried the normal stuff like 0000, 1111, 1234?
