Hi all,i have been given a 7000s to mess with, it has hydra software,can i update this as the last update was in 2004.i know nothing about these boxes as i run a spiderbox 9000hd but want to learn.when i try to update on internet i get message:cant resolve hostname!
help please.

Hi m8 I have DM 7000 too, great rec btw. Works flawlessly on Gemini 4.5 already 4 years or so. You don't know what channel beast you have in the house until you give it a spin... No cable operator can match DM.

The problem of yours is because you haven't set up well your dream IP and dns addresses.
My advice to you is first update your rec software to Gemini and afterwards install some CCcam emulation after which you'll connect to some free Cline from our free section and test it.
