DiSEqC configuration using relay switch and 2x 1-4 DiSEqC switches
If you cannot find an 8 port DiSEqC switch.
A cheaper solutin is available.
Use 2x 1-4 DiSEqC switches with a relay or tone switch.
This setup is also suitable for Enigma1 boxes.
First 4 LNBs
Configuration Mode = advanced
Satellite = Hotbird 13E (set your satellite name here)
Voltage mode = Polarization
Tone mode = Band
LNB = LNB 1 … 4 (Set LNB port)
DiSEqC mode = 1.1
Toneburst = None
Committed DiSEqC command = AA, AB, BA, BB (AA=LNB1, AB=LNB2, BA=LNB3, BB=LNB4)
Fast DiSEqC = Yes
Sequence repeat = Yes
Command order = uncommited, commited, toneburst
Uncommitted DiSEqC command = Input 1 (for the 1st 1/4 DiSEqC)
DiSEqC repeats = none LOF = Universal LNB
Increased voltage = yes (if wire is long)
Polarity = Auto
Tone Amplitude = 800mV
Next 4LNBs
Configuration Mode = advanced
Satellite = Badr 26E (set your satellite name here)
Voltage mode = Polarization
Tone mode = Band
LNB = LNB 5 … 8 (Set satellite LNB port)
DiSEqC mode = 1.1
Toneburst = None
Committed DiSEqC command = AA, AB, BA, BB
Fast DiSEqC = Yes
Sequence repeat = Yes
Command order = uncommited, commited, toneburst
Uncommitted DiSEqC command = Input 2 (for the 1st 1/4 DiSEqC)
DiSEqC repeats = none
LOF = Universal LNB
Increased voltage = yes (if wire is long)
Polarity = Auto
Tone Amplitude = 800mV
The satellite number can be further increased to 16 by using 1-4 relay switch instead with 4diseqc switches
A Tone switch 0-22 Khz can be used in place of the relay switch.
You need to set Toneburst = 0 or 22 to switch between the 2 DiSEqC switches.
Uncommitted DiSEqC command = none
