Hi sorry to bump this old thread.
I have just bought a DM500s, and advised to use DCC, which is the latest version, I wasalso advised to use Flashwizard, would others recommend these utilities.

For enigma 1 boxes (500, 7000) the latest version of DCC is 2.96.
Flashwizard is a great software to enable multiple images on your box (but you will not be able to use it on DM500s).
The box has no USB or HD connection.
You could use the network and have the multi-images on a computer but that keeps the computer runing all the time.

Forgot to mention,
Flashwizard is still very useful for uploading images to your box.
There are many images and backups that you can use Flashwizard with.

I meant that you cannot use FlashWizard for installing multiboot image. Since DM500s has no USB port.
You can however use to install images on the internal Flash of your DM500s and it is very user friendly. chose version 6.3 pro.

As for DCC, you can easily change the language to English from the language square on the right of the screen.
