Re: DreamEnum_0.90 - Flash files via Router

I believe this works particularly for Dreambox receivers that use firmware with NFI extension.
I have a DM 500+ which can only be flashed with NFI files.
Flashwizard 6.3 doesnt work for DM 500+ nor firmware with NFI extension.
Obviously, Flashwizard 6.3 is for DM500 and DM500S
This procedure for DM500+ is same for DM600PVR

This procedure is by Ethernet network cable connection between DM500+ and a Router.

      1) DHCP must be enabled. Go into menu>setup>expert setup>enable DHCP
      2) Unplug/Remove power supply to the DREAM
      3) Press the front power button, insert the power plug and release the button when the red and green LEDs start to blink/flash.
      3) Disable firewall in Windows XP (for precaution)
      4) Launch "DreamEnum_0.90.exe"
      5) DreamEnum automatically launches the DREAM into programming mode.
      6) If nothing happens, remove power supply, wait for a few seconds and try again.
      7) From the program, press "FLASH IMAGE" which opens the web interface for flashing.
      8) At the end of programming press the front power button of the DREAM to load the image.

Alternatively, if you know the IP address assigned by the router, you can follow steps 1 to 3, open a browser (such as explorer) and type it in the address field

To follow this procedure, the Dream must be perfectly working. If not, the Dream must be flashed using DreamUP and a Null cam cable.
