Not big deal clone or original, just that with clones you have to be crefull with some images and also to not have a MAC conflict.

I've posted those pictures because of the price. The internet is full of clones that are sold at the price of original boxes

There no dm500s original anymore.Its not on production 2-3 years so all are clones

I can tell you that if Clone is half of the price of Original, than you can buy it, but if the price of the clone is not much cheaper than the original, it is better to buy original. I have DM800HD clone, and I paid it 200 eur when the original was 400 eur, so I made a good deal.
But if you have more money to spend than go for Original (less problems, better quality, good support)

Most clones are less then half price. Not sure why dream media charge so much.

That's true... less then half price and almost everything same as the original.
Only issue - guarantee... but at this price you can achieve another and have spare components...

Very nice guide with photos. It is seen that really differ in the details. Looks like the clone of DM 800 is not equipped with a telephone modem. Again, however, interesting that the clone has a cooling on the CPU. Thank you very much for your helpful post.

Original or clone, if youtake care with images it won't be a problem. Clones have problem with power supply what is inexpensive, in rest works just fine for a long period

I have a clone DreamBox 500s A Class Tuner 3 years and work perfect.
