Since some days i have (and many other) problems to watch some s*y channels.
i've read that possible cause is a new codec mpeg4 used by s*y.
somebody have any news?

Is it possible install a plugin or something similar?

Again: it's not a codec problem, but pairing going on.

You're right: as a matter of facts I was quite embarassed putting that link and I thought the same, but it's quite challenging making an abstract, both for technical reasons (for example older cards 0919 are still working, but not all of them, what makes the difference? ) and also for language.
Perhaps tomorrow I will try, but if there is someone who can do it now, he's welcome.

In a few words:
some HD $ky it channels are no more visible by emus.
The number of these channels is increasing and it is expected that in a few days/weeks whole HD package won't be visible by emus.
The reason is marriage card/decoder and, at the moment, the algo of the new ecm is unknown.
SD channels are not affected but it's not clear if $ky will be able to enroll marriage on sd receivers too.
Some users report that old 0919 cards that are not entitled to HD package can still open all HD channels; it looks like a nonsense (cards not officially entitled work fine where cards officially entitled do not work).

The Pairing Procedure that will lose all HD channels and also premium packages such as Movies and Sports has been going on since October last year and is still ongoing by $ly.

Apparently in the last week or so there has also been another counter measure by $ly that has affected channels such as RTE1&2 and some of the children's channels such as DisneyXD, Boomerang etc...

This new measure has something to do with swapping both CW0 and CW1 on a loop so that channels can take some seconds to clear while it awaits the new control word and then goes off again when it is swapped.

I believe that a ticket was opened with the Oscam developers about this and they are working on a fix which was found last night on one of the latest version of Oscam 9036 which fixes this problem, Now the bad news it fixes the problem when used with Oscam as your client. CCcam and MGcamd are still affected by this CW swap.

Also add into the mix that at the end of August 2013 $ly has started issuing a new card for all its customers which has introduced new problems

Now that I'm writing latest oscam is svn 9038

Edit:
Taking a look at oscam timeline I found two tickets (#3504 and #3514) that where both closed with following reason: "Discussion is pointless because its NDS HWPairing. Provide an algo or its not possible to solve."
It's clear that oscam's team is not working to find the algo (and they are not supposed to do it !) ...

Apologies for my Previous post the Correct version of the Fixed Oscam build should be as stated 9036 so i would assume any builds after this will incorporate the fix

I didn't even try to install svn 9036 (not worth).
Changeset 9036 states:
"- Cache answers where not taken into account -> moved nds cwswap to better point
- Reverted cyclecheck (my changesets could only caused additional trouble!)"

Both changes have nothing to do with $ky it problems.

No news until now, not only this one with Os*am, but all possible fixes tried were unsuccesfull...

I came over an interesting forum at sky website. They are actually allocating teams to contact private persons who know about someone doing card sharing. They are really working on trying to stop card sharing of their cards.

i'm experiencing very high ecm on sly sports 2 hd for a week or so now. Guess this is a result of their ongoing testing.
