Re: Static IP
Did you press the green button to save your settings?
Uncheck the dhcp, give the IP that you saw when the dhcp was enabled, press save and then reboot your box.
The next time you will go in the net settings you will see that dhcp is unchecked

Re: Static IP
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the responses, I figured as much, I've already attempted to disable dhcp and set an ip to my dreambox via my BT Home-hub. Rebooted DHCP was enabled and a different IP acquired.Leave a comment:

Re: Static IP
dhcp enabled acquires an IP address from those available in the router automatically and then can change depending on the number of connections on the same network
is appropriate to set a static ip with relative submask and gateway (such as Windows Network)Leave a comment:

Re: Static IP
Welcome to forum mate. Dhcp is your problem. Dhcp gets an random ip from your router. So turn off dhcp and then set static ip likepan told you. Now nezt time you reboot your dreambox it will stil use the ip you set.Leave a comment:

Re: Static IP
hi
It could help to disable the dhcp ang get a static ip (best to set first dhcp on and get an - auto - ip, write it down, set to static and enter the ip-address you wrote down).Leave a comment:
