1) install vlc on your pc and make sure you tick the box activex plugin and mozilla plugin
2) now in windows use the run command and type "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC\vlc.exe" --intf wxwin --extraintf=http < make sure you include the " before the c
3) setup up vlc server on dreambox with pc ip address and set port to 08080.
4) goto ******* plugin select a vid and it should play
i have noticed when you goto a second vid after playing the first i get a black screen , i also managed to cause my dm800 to crash after typing in a search after watching first vid. im sure this is fixable. you will notice an error after watching first vid invalid token im assuming this is to do with cookies
