XBMCAddons Plugin - for running xbmc addons with enigma2

Here is a little plugin for running xbmc addons on enigma2 images. Tested on a dm500hd with the latest official image.

Please test the addons streaming German videos - as I cannot test them much in UK.

The image should have installed the rtmp support software. With some other images - also required python-imaging and python-html.

Install method :-

(1) Install plugin ipk.
(2) Unzip the attached xbmc addons (your choice !) and ftp to folder -

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/XBMCAddons/XBMC

(3) Use Settings to set your cache folder.

For some rtmp streams - the Download must be selected first.

Please report which addons work - and which have problems. I shall test more addons in future and post them here.

My friend he means XBMC on the pc that he has experience with not with a E2
receiver, XBMC has a lot of user made plugins that stream live sport and tv
channels from all over the world you can watch episodes from USA and also Desi
series as well so if it works well with a E2 receiver then it would be very welcome.

Aplication Xbmc work on all Android (phone tablet or some new generation of tv wich have Android sistem).

Yes this plugin work on vu solo 2 and have a lot of addons for film sport and x..
Yes you have realtek internet interface so it is quikly than other and you can stream HD chanel to phone or tablet by lan.

I have this plugin installed on my solo2 and it is really great.
Only problem I have is that I can't get sports devil to work.
anyone have it working, and if yes how did you get it working?

Sports devil is a right mess at the moment it is semi working with hot fixes on a pc but not so good you need to manually update the xml which I dont think is poss on a stb

It's a pain, I have it working on my android tablet, though a lot of the streams don't work.
But you can always find what you are looking for.
Would be great to have a sports stream addon working on my solo2.

yes I have tried it, but the streams I generally use I couldn't find on Ts media.
Setanta HK, Setanta Canada and a few others.
They show all the southern hemisphere rugby matches.
