Jumpin'Jack Flash der initramfs Kernel




As announced in Dumbo thread we now test a kernel for Dreambox initramfs includes the clever.

The following functions are currently (hopefully functional, but why should meet its testing) inside:

boot with root = LABEL =* addition to the usual root = / dev / *

rootpart = 1 .. 8 for multiple images on a device.

Flashing the boot when a USB Stick / CF is found on it with LabelFlash and an nfi image.

Check whether the current Dreambox original (!) Loader 83 of DMM in flash has.

0:22 a Dumbo kit supports the above functions can be found in Dumbo thread, but things like the flash itself can be tried even just in the flash image.

ATTENTION Jumpin'Jack the flash kernel can be installed only in the current image with an account 83 or at the 800ern with loader 82, an unmodified kernel, CVS, as it is replaced.

Adapted / extended kernel as in iCVS would be replaced by an original boot and then no more. So not in the ICVS try the kernel-initramfs ipk install, repair a broken You'll probably then.

WARNING this is only a test kit and you can not uninstall it, that must be secured before the image with dFlash if you return to the state before the initramfs kernel will.

install:
