How to insert Dreamox Keys !

Can someone tell me how to insert keys on DM500s , on Camd.keys
or Softcam.keys ... and how to set the keys for e.g. i have this key:

[ Canalsat  ] Viaccess Astra 19.2°E | | [B]Emus [/B]| Provider : 022610 | Frequency |

[B]V [/B]022610 08 DFB61C951AE2C57BDE0D4887B9614295 ; Active

ho do i set on the dm ,to copy all code with the V and set it to DM or !?

you need a ftp program i use Dreambox control center DCC2.95
open the program insert root for name and dreambox is the default password if you didnt changed it, go to ftp and from the left side you will see the dreambox folders and from the right side is your pc, insert the softcam.key file in /var/keys and you are done.
If you want to insert keys manualy navigate to /var/keys/ and edit the existing softcam.

Are the keys detect automaticly by the cccam or have I to do something?

Hi jochen7575, you should put this lines in your cccam.cfg file .

SOFTKEY FILE : /var/keys/SoftCam.Key
AUTOROLL FILE : /var/keys/AutoRoll.Key
STATIC CW FILE : /var/keys/constant.cw

Then update ( softcam.key, constant.cw and autoroll.key )
files located in :/var/keys/ folder of your dreambox with current ones.

By downloading one of new updated files from sticky area of this section and put them via ftp to the appropriate location of your dreambox.

What does the autoroll.key file ? Is it necessary ?

It depends on your cam.
Every cams have a config file.
In those config file ,you will specify (manually to be sure) the path of your softcam files
(for you /var/keys/ )
And finally ,you start the cam. (cccam,oscam,mgcamd...) and that's it.

just edit this to cccam.cfg.?

I also have a copy of CCcam.cfg in /var/etc as well as in /var/keys.
Don't forget to change the attributes to 755.

Keys have higher priority than clines. When I had old keys for some channels before, the channel didn't work even though it was available through the cline. I had to remove the key of that channel in order to view it.

Thank you for the very clear instructions, I try to do this with my Solo2 box but was unsuccessful there must be a different procedure but anyways I have a better understanding about How to insert Dreamox Keys.. !
