Clean up var folder?

How do you clean the var folder as when i uninstall plugins and stuff i dont need, it never freese up space on my dm500

you can use the deinstall plugin in the blue panel for delete plugins.

/var/tuxbox is usually a symbolic liknk to /etc/tuxbox, so the actual files are in /etc. When you remove then, /var will be unchanged but there should be space freed up in / (where /etc is).

tnks for your help ive deleted files from the tmp folder as instructed from another site. wouldnt know what files to delete from the etc folder so ill just reflash.
