Aren't avaible atm, chinese production is working hard on 800 HD, I think the 500 HD has not big market because has no USB port also if uses a powerfull CPU.

Just took a look on alibaba.com.
Found Yao Xin Electronics (Hong Kong) Ltd. It's gold supplier on the site, so I guess trustfull. Normally when you order from this site, money is blocked on account till you let know alibaba you recieved object.

Found Dreambox DM800 HD satellite receiver
price for 1 unit : 219,90 dollar (+/- 174 euro), price with free shipment

So I'm not sure that they have a dreambox 500hd clone, can't find it on the alibaba
If they sell dreambox 500hd clone, price must be less than 174 euro

Just remember the final price can increase for taxes China is out from Europe so you must pay import taxes, mostly they writes on package a low price but so to let you pay nothing but latest time checks on items cooming from China are increased. So if difference is not so big I suggest you to buy direct from an european seller.

Well, it depends. I ordered mine directly from Hong Kong and it slipped through the customs pretty smoothly. I think it depends on the country as well although all the regulations should be the same within the EU but hongkong post and any other local posts are usually a safe bet over DHL, TNT and such cause they notoriously get checked at the customs. It's just my two cents but if you can wait a couple of days more than use these local postal services instead of the big ones and you might just get lucky with your package.

200 bucks for a dm500hd clone? It's the price of a dm800 clone... I don't really know the difference between the two box but I expected the dm500hd clone a lot cheaper than 200usd... I mean come on, my dm500 was only 50 bucks...

I've recieved answer from distributer yaoxincn from peremacedonia's link
It's not a dreambox 500 hd but a dreambox 800 hd they sell (220 usd)
Apparently they are still waiting for a chip needed for a dreambox 500 clone, could take between 2 to 3 months.
So I think there isn't a db 500 hd clone on the market yet (eaven not in the middle east)

Nope, there is no DM500HD clone yet. I've seen some chinese companies selling dm800 as dm500hd as well. You either have to wait or buy a dm800 which is around 200 bucks now, not that big of a deal.

Hi,

dm500HD clone doesn't exist. Alibaba is not a reliable site at all, you can find serious resseler and escrocs. Refuse to pay by westernunion transfert and only use the secured alibaba system. I case of fraude alibaba doesn't cover anything and fake resselers are not pursued (fake ressler could have gold status as well as the serious ones).
