    Re: problem with wifi

    Hello

I don't know if the image you have has the necessary drivers for wifi.
Can you see the wifi adapter?
Did you put any settings? password?

If you can't see it, then you need to find the proper drivers for your sim type and image.
First enable the lan with cable in order to able to install tspanel.

Then, use it to find the drivers of the wifi for your image and sim 2.10.

      hi,
they told me this img doesn't have drivers for wifi, yes there is password generated by my router, witch i fitted in my sunray, the img came with own setup for wifi, (with lan the same setup work) but didn work, i then put in DHCP, still no luck. .if i download TS panel how can i get drivers from there?

        Re: problem with wifi

        DHCP must be off.
You have to set manually the IP.

Once you installed the tspanel, go to addons/sim2-addons/sim2-plugins.
There you will find the necessary drivers for wifi.

Also, you can select an image including the wifi drivers.

1.Make sure you have the latest RTL8192 drivers installed in the box
          2.Try diferent ruter
          3.Try to connect without encription
4.Shut down all devices, disconnect network cables, reboot and connect one by one
          Rule n.33 kid..... Concentrate

            hi
when i go network adapter it show 8712u, then MANAGE KERNEL MODULES, i found already activated this adapter. that mean drivers are already installed?
            Or maybe wrong drivers installed.
I found five adapter in MANAGE KERNEL MODULES:
            RT73
            ZD1211B
            RTL8187L
            RT3070
            R8712U (the one is activated)

I tried to look around for RTL8192 drivers but i didn get them

You try to flash your box with wrong image.

Select an image that have the same bootloader with your box and of course it's for the sim card that you have.

all the others img which i tried to flash are for 210 sim (like mine), tough was enough....like this one: sifteam enigma2 koala-sim2-ssl84b

Both images mentioned above seem to have the same bootloader ssl84b.
Maybe you should ask the publisher of this image to explain you way you can't flash it.

yes...anyway i manage to reflash the old one...and manage to make work my WIFI! the router was not able to communicate with my box because of wrong encryption i set the router on WPA/WPA2 and the box same...i did this also before. but probably flashing again the IMG was the right thing

The communicate maybe failed due to an IP conflict.

Some times can be a IP conflict in the wifi network because of other devices that we have such as laptop, phones etc

Even if we have choose dhcp to be disabled it's possible to have this conflict.
So, always when a network problem occurs, we have to check for IP conflict.
