A bit unfocus pictures but we got the idea. Did you see any improvement and does it worth doing that ?

        Re: Remote controller signal

very strange idea but why not...
The sensitivity problem is on the dreambox, not on the controller. Normally it would be better to put a piece of alu paper on the box (perhaps behind the LED, but difficult).

I partly agree with you. If you think so, I can suggest another way,but it is a bit risky You may break the glass part in front of the LED because it prevents the signal strength. Am I right?

Maybe it's the type of a parabolic reflector, which directs infrared rays right direction..
Is my post useful for you? Please press sigpic

I am using my dm800 without the complete piece of plastic ! The signal is a little bit better, but is not fantastic.

                Re: Remote controller signal

Is this really a solution? Cause my remote is as crappy as it can be... I need to sit like 2meters or closer to the receiver to get this damn thing work. If it really help, I'm gonna give it a shot. It's really really terrible atm, dunno what to do.

2 meters just like my clone DM500. Soon I will start to change channels manually. Fortunately this method partly worked for me.

                      Re: Remote controller signal

I try this about year ago with my old remote control from tv and I didnt see much difference.

Probably is problem in TV and to you in your box.

                        Re: Remote controller signal

If u only remove the plastic cover above led on dreambox it will increase signal

                            Re: Remote controller signal

i opened dreambox put led outside and she resive signal from any angle
so leds and remotes are ok.
the reason is plastic design, led is 1cm inside and cant resive signal very good from plastic cover of dreambox

You can try to reduce plastic thikness from inside the cover, so to have it on and remote works.
