DTS on Dream 800HD

I have DM800 HD with Gemini 5.0 and 2.01 76D. Is there any Image which support DTS ? Is Newigma Image support it ? Can I use these images on my Box ?

DTS and MKV on a 800 just does not work.

As far as i know only models based on the mips 400Mhz can decode DTS (dm8000, dm500hd, dm800se). It is a hardware limitation, the processor is just not fast enougth.

Little unfair for the dreambox team not to include DTS and MKV support on DM 800, a high price on the box and many limitation. Hope the dm8000 clones will become cheaper so I can make the upgrade!

Like I said before it is a hardware limitation is just not able to do that, it has a processor that is not capable to handle the load needed to render DTS

Maybe MKV plays but without sound or is an MKV with AC3, all files involving DTS will not work

If you really need that file than just convert him with this tool :

You then can play your file
