Installed new image and not turning on DM500s !

I just installed new Gemini 4.7 image...after rebooting ,its opening the image firts GP ,and then the screen is black and nothing happens..whats wrong..i cant even connect now to flash another image because i dont know the IP of the dreambox because after flashing the ip changes...help please

U need a null modem cable to connect the box to ur pc, and reflash a working image using dreamup.I use Pli jade images. If that dont work, u will need to jtag. I have done this to bring my box back alive and it worked first time

i fixed the DM500s with null cable modem ..but if you can tel me whats that jtag .. just to know..

Null cable modem cable and DreamUp always solves the problem when you have an original DM 500. With a Null cable modem cable the dreamup automatically finds the ip of the decoder. Jtag is a circuit board which is the last resort and that means extra money.

I tryed to connect my DM500s with null cable modem and its didnt connect i dont know why ?!
I think my DM500s is original becaous the Mac adress is original ,or its other way to check it ?!

are you using dream up and null modem cable, if so you must click connect and then unplug your receiver from power grid and plug it back in, it will connect.
