What are you trying to achive?

Are you trying to stream TV from the box? Or watch something from your PC on the Box?

i would use the latest stable OpenPLi image it should work ok

For me it is the Pli-Image the best for the VLC media player, it works very stable and good.

For the Dbox 2 I use the GLJ-image and it also works very good with the VLC player. I don´t know if there is a image for the DM500 based on GLJ.

I use for VLC Streaming on DM500s the Evolution 2.7 DM500S image

Gemini did not work properly for VLC streaming

Have to agree Pli is very good with vlc, also web-x-tx works fantastic on the Pli-Web interface

I use Marwensat 2.4 Maxvar, works flawless with vlc streaming and webxtv, also the image is very stable and fast
