    Dreambox 800 PVR

    I have an external HD for recording and which is fine when it's working but now, almost daily, when I press the PVR button I get a "no HDD detected". I then have to initialise the HDD (again) which at the same time then erases any recordings

    Can anyone help please as to why my box keeps failing to recognise my HDD?

      Try to replace HDD to new one.
