Dflash not working?

Hi everybody,

I have made several searches in the other Threads, but could not
find a solution of my backup problem.
I have a Sunray A8P with SAT Tuner and 1GB HDD.
I am trying with several version of dFlash, but the backup that has
been generated is either 0 Bytes or 157kBytes big.
If I try to flash the box with such backup, the box does not react
even after 30 minutes.
Maybe somebody could help?

just flash a new image there fit to your receiver
cos you have nothing in that backup
u have made

Hi Geeko77

You don't say what image you use in your receiver.

If you have problem with Flash plugin, you can try other plugin or even a built in addon of your image.

Did you search if there is such a plugin in the menu?

Finally, you can use the backup option of the TSpanel.

Sorry Kalpikos for not giving to you all the needed information!

I have a Sunray A8P with the NewNIgma2_stable_lean_dm800se image
with some plugins I could install on it.
Since I am still not able to make the wireless lan working on the box, I would like to backup the actual status and make some tests.
I have tryed with many Versions of the dFlash plugin, tried to install Barry Allen (w/o success), installed an "automatic backup" and tried with the TSpanel 7.3. The plugin (dflash)is in the menu and I know how it works, since I have
a second box (Sunray 2.10), where I am not experiencing any problems with
wifi & backup. The backup is working, not showing any errors, but the backup saved on the HDD is not useful (max 150kB).

The size of the backup file is wrong.
Maybe you missed something in the settings for the creation of the backup file.

Also, it's possible to get only backup for your settings and not a full backup image.

sorry, but I was convinced it would be possible to create a full backup image,
in order to come back to the actual status, if something would go wrong
during my "tests", just flashing it via browser after pressing the start taste
on power on.
The backup is not working and I left the hope that it will work!

also and I have problem with ddflash in my sunray4 with openpli 4 image,i can't create back up

Hi Ervini,
i have the same problem with the same image (honestly with another image too..) and with the same sunray 4 hardware! Could you find a solution for it?

with Dflash i think not work but you can try with another plugin .......

i think the problem was located in some auto backup settings saved on the hard disk.
since the problem has been solved by replacing the "old" hard disk with a new one!

I will try the plugin you suggested me!

Your old disk was broken, or you replaced it for a new for test purposes only?

the hard disk was nearly full, therefore I took it off and connected to the computer in order to save the data.
Furthermore I installed a 1 GB new one, since my pourpose is that maybe it is faster and
the freezer will be less!
I think a test was worth it! For your information, on the "old" hard disk there was a "autosave" folder, I think it could be the cause of the problem, what is your opinion?
