i have read in some forums that you can prioritise channels you want to view on servers for less freezing, does anyone know how to do this?

I think you didn't understand...matter is to prio or ignore caids used on the same channel, for better results.
These better results are extremely different from channel to channel and with different servers, they go from being absolutely necessary (for example with italian MP) to being completely useless...
