clicked on satellite in dbedit apart from that i dont know how else to tell dbedit i have a dm500.
still says same error.

Hi

Go to tool>>options and setup you box.

Give the IP of the box and also put the necessary settings for Enigma 1.

ive got the settings for my box ip right i can test connection and username both ok
service and bouquets paths i have /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/
when i check thetuxbox/config folder there is no enigma folder in there?

now i don't know commando 14.7
nor even have a clone
but use dcc+ and look after the path where the services are
but it should be at
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma

and there are nothing named thetuxbox/config folder
like you wrote/write

there is not a folder or file inside called enigma

download the latest CCcam
install the cccam into var/bin attribut 755
with DCC send the CCcam.config into the folder : var/enigma with attrubut 755

havnt got a atribut 755 in var/bin

in there i have emu folder plus lots of other files
ie automapmsg, autoscan, autoscan-start etc

to get attribute 755
you need to right click the file
there you can select what attributes u want

The right paths in DreamboxEdit settings for an enigma1 receiver as your box should be the following:

Services and Bouquets files:
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/

User bouquets files:
/var/tuxbox/config/enigma/

Satellites xml file:
/var/etc/


If you still have problem, try an older version of DreamboxEdit as the version 2 or 3.
