dm 500s diseq problem

Cant move antena with diseq 1.2 to east.Its move only to west,and when need to go on east its move 1 sec and stop.then the light go orange.if i move to west again then light go green.Its maybe hardware limits or something?

Maybe if you do a factory reset on the DiSEqC motor to solve the problem.

I had that problem and went into positioner menu pressed "go to zero" and then programmed a sat in the problem direction and it worked ok after that.

I done reset before its not working,and with zero pos. nothing,

Check the lnb and also check the power adapter of your box.
Many problems caused from a faulty power supply.

If you have any limits set on the motor then delete them, also check to see if there is a manual reset of the motor available, usually small hole at base of motor, or, buttons, it might help if you post the make and model of your motor.

That's interesting, if you have opened your positioner look for loose connections and signs of water getting in . Use plenty of grease and sealant to keep water out when reassembling. Looking forward to seeing pictures .

I solve my problem,now diseq is good.after try everythig i open the motor to see what is the problem becouse thats was the last solution.my antena was far away on west and stoping on holder pipe.


It was 80w and dont go to east so i think somethink is broken inside motor

so i get to work.



Afer demount antena i see first hardware limits.They are good on 80 degr.


finaly i open motor



i use grease to lubricate moving elements,and close.

So thats my job to get diseq working again,but you аsk now what was the problem.This part

This is part to stop diseq to move further from hardware limits.but button for west limit not work and motor continue to move after 80w and stop on iron pipe.When i want to back antena on east the button for east limit touch the west hardware limiter and stop motor.I remove that part and set limits with reciever.But when i mount antena ussails coordinates was wrong becouse i forgot to back motor, it was on 80W and i put rotor on 0degr. so i desemble again and set motor to 0 and moving part to 0 and now everything is ok.
