I see you have 4 options:

1. Try to repair by replacing motherboard.
2. Buy new clone box.
3. Buy new genuine Dreambox.
4. Buy genuine Vu+ box.

My choice would be option 4 as recommended by kalpikos. Option 1 and 2 are likely to be expensive in the long run. Option 3 will be expensive at the beginning.

Y es maybe is an option but now to buy genuine receiver but not at this moment i wil concentrate my self to repaire de 2 dreamboxen
one with estar sim...he have miniflash botton behind the receiver
and the other one ferrari SIM dont have it.

It may be the power supply board that has failed they get warm and fail regularly.
Be careful poking about inside 220V !

Was it the right for your dreambox?

I mean, is it a dreambox adapter or you took it from other device?
Be careful, because all adapters are not the same and they have big differences in volts and amperes.

Please check the volts and amperes of the adapter.
Should be the same as the power adapter of the dreambox.
If you don't have an adapter with the same characteristics, then you have to find it from a friend and test it.

I repair the first DM 800hd se ferrari SIM ,the mini USB plug was broken,now i have to look at the DM 800 hd se estar SIM ...my feeling is the CPU broken of one condosateur but wich one i dont know

i lear i lot with this experience....also got hulp from expert electrecien...
replacing the right IC
resistors adjusted for the correct output voltage

yes indeed,
it is a real pleasure to solve successfully these kind of hard and soft ware issue

on my side, i knew this (but on a lenovo edge e325 laptop):

the hinges are fixed on the plastic rear cover
and not on the chassis

so they started to weak more and more
until i fully open the laptop
to discover this strange design

and fullfill the attachment with epoxy mastic

now it is fixed



ps: it might be good to know this story for any other similar laptop
