There are few longs threads on the --http://www.world-of-satellite.com (home of OpenVix image).
According to the coders, the only reason there are not any images for Dreambox, is because they don't own this box to try and work with, and they don't want to release an image without testing it.

No vix for dreambox because no support from vix team for this receiver.
Not every team makes images for different boxes, black hole does for dreambox (not for long anymore) and vu, vti for vu, vix for vu, open pli for dreambox and vu, etc....
Some are only for dreambox like TS-image, some only for clones like ferrari images, some only for receiver ***x.
Anyway every receiver mostly has different images to chose out, what's the best according to users is discussed in other threads here on forum.
