    hello

this is specified in the cccam config file ccca.cfg, with these defaults:

Thats most usefull I will save that. Thanks
My main problem is I cant get any providers with the yellow button so am reloading anything possible. I have even reflashed the box but I dont have the cccam providers file so will try and find one.

PS I loaded cccam.providers, rebooted but still no providers with the services then yellow button.

Re: Where to put cccam info and prio files

          Hello

Both files must be in var/etc

As aplok said you have to add in cccam.cfg the lines with the destination of the files:

          CHANNELINFO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.channelinfo
          PROVIDERINFO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.providers
          CAID PRIO FILE : /var/etc/CCcam.prio

Search your menu to find if there is some setting for showing or not the provider.
Maybe the problem you have is caused by the image you have installed.
If you can't find solution, reflash your receiver with other image.

Re: Where to put cccam info and prio files

I added those three lines to my cccam.cfg, rebooted but still no providers after services then yellow button, blue button gives favourites, green all sats, red satellites.
The only reason for reflash was no providers but didnt help.
My sunray4 has providers on yellow but its e2 and the dm500s is e1.
            Any ideas.

I can see providers from the pc, problem is I cant from the dm500s so I dont know what provider a channel is from. Tv button then yellow used to tell what provider a channel is from, it does on my dm800 sr4.
If I do this I get arquiva, regardless what channel it is.

You will never get providers in this way...

Now I understand what do you want to do...

Take a ready made list as vhannibal settings for the satellites you have or use you own list from your receiver and use the DreamboxEdit from your pc.
Open the channel list and make any change you want in the bouquets.

Finally, hit a right click on a channel and select "create bouquet" and then from the submenu select "make bouquet for each package".
It will take a little time but finally it will create a folder for each provider.
Save the list and upload it again to your receiver.

Make a restart and .... you are ready!!!

vhannibals motor settings, both e1 and e2 have all their bouguet channels listed if you view them with dreamboxedit and I can access them on the dm800 but not the dm500s.
                    Any ideas

i've succeeded to test vhannibals e1 on my venerable dm500

my dm500 is e1 (enigma 1), and it works

something to check out : the file services

                      /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/services

to refresh with the gemini (openpli) sat autoscan procedure ...

I have found services there but what is the gemini (openpli) sat autoscan procedure
I am assuming you mean scan services so am scanning 13 degrees
AutoScanning 13 degrees has given me full providers, so you have cured it so thanks very much.

                          if you
                          head -n 500 /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/services

                          you've got something like

                          services
                          0001:0082afc2:0065:0001:1:2565

                          f:40,p:Mediaset
                          0001:00820000:1fa4:013e:1:2335
                          RIT-TV
                          f:40,p:RIT
                          0001:00820000:2e18:00b0:1:1463

                          f:40,p:SNRT
                          0001:00820000:3200:013e:25:1588
                          ...

                          ie the channels (services) definitions

this file is given after a satellite scan
                          by the dedicated process
of the satbox sat tuner application (gemini, openpli ...)
                          on user request
                          ( something like: remote command >menu >config >sat >bouquet >autoscan : yes )

and so, vhannibal comes out with bouquets,
but do not ineterfere with your channels distro ( services file)

in fact autoscan provides you services, ie your sat channels distro

( which actually is not called providers )

                          the so-called providers , is the channel-bouquet-vendor,
by mean of a crypto card

                          ex: __http://dbox:16001/providers

this to clear out any possible confusion between provider and bouquet

That gives me a much better understanding, thanks for spending the time.
The channel-bouquet-vendor was the thing I wanted and after the scan of 13 degrees it did appear so yellow button gives me the channel-bouquet-vendor and I can see what other services they are providing. Quite usefull to me if a service is provided by more than one provider so I can tailor a cline that would open it.

                              this is usually the case:

                              a given service ( let's say the bbc1 pgm)
is distributed by many providers ( ie vendor, let's say: shy, absat, ...)
under many cards ( with their own car id: caid)

                              so you have this:

                              Code:
                              caid:providerid
to quote into your c line to tune them according your preferences

... but i wonder if this time consuming tuning is worth ... ?

if you try, thx to report ..
