Friends if i install external hdd with my sunray dreambox 800 hd se. Then what ll be its performance.,?is it difficult task and what about its uses.. Is it effects internal workings.. ?thanks friends.. I feel proud to be part of this unique forum..

i've just done a stream lan network load test for

conclusions:

for a sd stream as

VIDEO: MPEG2 720x576 (aspect 3) 25.000 fps 15000.0 kbps (1875.0 kbyte/s)
AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 2 ch, s16le, 128.0 kbit/8.33% (ratio: 16000->192000)

the average load is

RX: 3.26Mb 3.52Mb 3.09Mb
RX: 3.74Mb 3.44Mb 2.94Mb

so, if your hd, internal or external can manage that:

no problems to be in or out !
