I think solo2 is a better choice instead of xtrend: is more powerful, more recente and have better support. In a few months there will be a new xtrend boxes in the market. Another thing about xtrend is the fact of the "memory lost when battery is removed" - for me is a disadvantage.

I can't understand why Xtrend is suggested and comparing to vu+ solo2.
They are two receivers with many differences on the abilities they have.
Sometimes, we shouldn't look only at the prices, but also concetrate on the functions, abilities and support of a receiver.

Finally, I think that today the quality of vu+ solo2 is the best in the market.

Agree with kalpikos , features and support , you mostly use STB 4-5 years and constantly want its support
