hi 2 all,
i have dm800se ssl84 sim2.10,
i am trying to find an image that have :
1-working (my****)
2-support usb stick
3-multiboot
4-support emu
i tried alot of images and i can not found one.
i tried also to falsh backup images but i also get error (ca not found).

have you tried, openpli?
and by the way its better to list some of the images you have used so that we dont suggest the ones you tried

Minor features, such as usb stick support or my**** can be added as drivers or plugins, so you can focus on images that satisfy the most of your needs (and manually add the others).
ca not found is the typical error when you flash an image with different ss of the one in your sim.

Hi can't use openpli image, because hi has a clone dreambox.
His box has a sim2.10 so hi cant use original images.
Only patched images can use with the right boodloader.

you can find what image you "desire" ,patched ofcourse(openpli,gp3,dreamelite,.......)
there is no "perfect image"
i use dream elite and i am satisfied

You are right.
The only way he can use open pli is on the external flash.
On the internal flash, NeEnigma2 or ICVS (Patched) works nicely.

I have the same box and same sim version.
I tried almost all available images, and I think openpli is the best.
Versions 2.1, 3 and 4 are available.
Usb and emu work.
My**** didn't work on 2.1. (didn't test since upgrade to 4)

hi all and nice to be here
this is my first post here so will do my best. hope you can help i have a dreambox 800hd se wifi on screen it comes up sim 2 and 4 so not to shore if this comes under sim 2.10 i have tride quit a few images now and only some load and some don't. black hole was the one that worked for me untill i come across the new pli-4 but i had problems with that to the clock was stuck on 19 71 2:59 or some thing like that and it kept green screening so i put the new dream elite 403 2013 but it works realy well i installed rats bouquet and picon auto update set up the cross epg. all works fine untill i switch it off it takes about 20 mins to boot up if not more some times. it is fine if i just restart enigma2 or just put it on standby but the wife dont like me leaving it powerd on over night would any one know why this could be happening thanks.

Hello

You said that you tried openpli4 and you had problems...
Openpli 4 has a lot of problems not only for your box but for all boxes.

Why you don't try the openpli3 (patched for your sim, of course)
I think that is a very good image for your box.

I also suggest you , to not using too much plugins and addons because they make your box unstable and easy to crash (green screens) and of course cause a significant delay on start up.

As for the deep sleep or standby...
I always switch my box to standby, when I go for sleep or I have to leave my house for many hours.
Deep sleep is using by me when I go to vacations or generally I have to leave my house for many days.
