it shall be either ext 2 or 3
i suggest that you download a feks ubunto and burn it to a cd or dvd
then you should be able to format it to ext 2 or 3

hdd is absolutely new. and his working on pc ( but not on all pc) some laptops ,can't find this hdd .

have you tried to format it in your windows or linux pc

yes,hdd is formated NTFS on windows

Double check that your hdd is not faulty (install it on a pc).
If it's ok but not working in your receiver (after trying different images) try to provide power supply from external source, keeping the receiver's and power supply's grounds together.
If still not working, it's sata interface of receiver to be faulty and there's not much you can do at this point.

After these, I would be suspicious about power issues. Maybe there is not enough power to your hdd.

on this moment , on my dm ,800se-dream elite4.0 image. but i try many other images , and result is same. cant find internal HDD

After these, I would be suspicious about power issues. Maybe there is not enough power to your hdd. I mean, your hdd is too much to your receiver and the device can't take it.

Try to use another image on dm 800se. Maybe your hdd isn't workable with your current image that you have on your dm.

I have Estar Dm 800 SE . I instal WD VelociRaptor HDD on this box . but box cant find this Hdd . how to resolve my problem ?

HDD model HDD SATA 600GB 10000RPM 6GB/S/2.5" 32MB WD6000BLHX WDC

Try to use another image on dm 800se. Maybe your hdd isn't workable with your current image that you have on your dm.
