Can someone explain to me how come in lyngsat some frequencies are receivable in Europe e.g 27 west 11.495V etc and yet when i put in the correct parameters i get no signal showing . i.ve a 1.2 motorised system and no problem recieving roughly same frequency on other sats

Anyway you have to take a look to satellite footprint, if in your location your dish is big enough for that transponder. -

If you are certain that your dish is on 27.5W and you have correct settings
DVB S-2 44100 9/10 QPSK then there does not seem to be a reason for not getting a signal. However DVB S-2 signals are not as robust as DVBS also high Fec like 9/10 can also be a problem. I am unable to check from Dublin as my dish has been moved by wind and no West signals at present. Is it possible you could be getting directional interference locally as the dish is quite low facing for this Sat. I presume that you also know that these channels are in Biss and keys are not always available.
