Is there life for my DM7000s

Hi, my old dm7000 hasn't been in use for a very long time and will get it jtag'd and back in op next week, hopefully.
I need to know what is the latest files i should be running on it to keep up to date. I normally run on Jade image.

    Hello mate and welcome

Pli Jade images have stopped development.
You can try an openPli image.
It's very stable and fast image.
When you finished flashing of your new image,
download the latest menu from your box
and when install a cam as cccam or mgcamd.
Of course, you can install any plugin you want
in order to keep your box up to date.

You don't need to get it jtag'd. you can use any enigma image you prefer.

I used an old 7020s a couple of months ago to get started to learn this hobby, and then got a vu+ duo because I wanted HD, otherwise the 7020 would have been fine.

It is possible that the receiver doesn't get up and JTAG has to wake him up. Why did this happen? Example: The loss of voltage to flash the new image. Using JTAG you have almost 100% chance to repair the tuner.

I have a friend who will jtag my box because its presently locked up/out. He has been able to bring a few 500s back to life. So im gonna let him give it a shot.
Maybe jtag is not his method or what he does but he has a way of getting the box unlocked.

If your box is frozen you can revive it using a null modem cable and a program called dreamup. Maybe that's what your friend is going to do for you. The box can get frozen and refuse to boot if you interrupt the process while you are flashing a new image.

I suggest you first to use dreamup and try to flash with a new image.
If you box doesn't respond again , then give it to your friend to continue with jtag.
