hi another problem is that when i went to my sisters house the dream box was not working all the fta channels are working however not the paid
i do have a c line that is active and channels are included also i have a virgin super hub in my sisters house and a bt router at mine

now i don't know what cline provider you use
but if you use 1 of the free clines from here then it can be outdated
if you have a paid cline from another place then it can be co you change IP by move
the box to another house/internet connection
so if you shall move your box around then you have to create a dns address
(look up free dns on ******) then give your dns address to your cline provider

Yes, dhcp is enabled ...
but did you change the other settings ?

In Communication Setup you have to change each time you go to other house the Nameserver and Gateway.
I think that the 2 routers have diferent IP , so each time you have to make an edit.

if you change location but still use dhcp, as long as you are using an ethernet cable connection your router should accept the dreambox, you may need to go to settings and accept them, if that fails try restarting the router with the dreambox connected.

its all fixed now i brought it to my house and used the power cable that was supplied (2 pin) and worked
i think the problem was that i was using an old power cable that was uk 3 pin as soon as i used the cable that was supplied it was fine

i also wanted to know what is cross epg
is it like 7 day epg
also i 7 day epg available on the dm800
