To use a smargo cardreader on Enigma1 box such the DM7000, edit (or create if it doesn't exist yet) the file /var/etc/init (chmod it to 755) and add the two following lines:
Configure the reader in Dreambox mode using the smartreader utility on PC
Plug the usb reader, reboot the dreambox. The smartreader is now available as the /dev/usb/tts/0 device
You can use it in your favorite CAM.
For example, in CCcam, it will be like this (to be adapted to your config and your card) :
