You can try to auction your dead dreambox 500 on Ebay I am sure some enthusiasts might put in bids and try to get it working.

Hi,
"black screen" doesn't necessarily mean that it doesn't boot.
I mean, after reflashing, have you tried to ping or telnet the box ?
Fire up a dhcp server in your lan (if you don't have already in your home router) and try to guess the ip that should be assigned to the box, or try with an ip scanner (angryip scanner, for example).
This is only the first step to understand if network is working and you can interact with the box for further investigations ...

To be clear i was in service and the flash whas dead and some part from lan need to be change.All that cost 35eur to fix,so i has no choice i buy new one for 40 eur. ,so now the old box i gona keep for parts
