DVBS2 SD channels on DM500S

Hi there

my question is can you open SD channels on a dm500s that are on a transponder that is encrypted in DVBS2 but are not HD and if so how?

500s have an old tuner,i dont think is possible.try to put the newest satelites.xml and do a new scan(hxxp://satellites-xml.eu/) maybe you will have some good luck

I kinda guessed that would be the answer, i know it wouldn't open HD but wondered if there was a plugin that might emulate dvbs2 so i could open the SD channles. Will try with a new satellites.xml file.

thats what i was wondering too...if that was possible on dm500+ too wach hd channels somehow...

No you can't
DM 500s is DVB-S receiver. It just cannot work with modulation other than QPSK
