Help me dm500s!!!

i have dm500s i connect to website of dreambox 192.168.178.XX and i click to VLC stream but does not start why can anyone help me plss?? i have VLC player...

Try to stream your actual channel that is on your TV ,and not stream different channel.
I had the same problem when I begun to test the streaming.

Also, check your firewall (in case of).It uses some special port to stream ,like 31334

You need to set up VLC player for IP streaming before it will connect to the DM500

you put dm fixed ip and your pc fixed ip to.
they should difer only in the last number for example:
pc----------------
192.168.0.5
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.1

dreambox-------
192.168.0.25
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.1

then open your browser in pc and type the dm ip 192.168.0.25
you shoud now see the menu of dreambox in your pc
after that all is simple (click vpid and channels open in vlc player)

i test this but i cant do it got 2 much problems... who know have any other software for vlc streming i need it pls help me!!!
