Dreambox IP

After my internet provider change internet to unlimited all settings from my router go to default and now my dreambox ip adress was changed from 111.111.111.21 to 111.111.111.25.My dreambox is connected to satlover server with no problem.How is possible my dreambox to remain connected when diferent ip adress is writen inside my dreambox and in my router is another.


I call technical support because when dsl sinchronization start my ip change and i dont have connection about 1 min

07.08.12 16:01:08 DSL not responding (no DSL synchronization).

and they come and change the router,but the problem is not solved.

maybe dhcp are turned on

is not internal ip?192.***.***.21 transformed to 192.***.***.25?is no problem because is not your "real" ip,is just internal asigned by router.

ok my router give me ip .25 but in my box is .21 sharing work but cant ftp to my box with .21

go to dreambox menu,network,uncheck dhcp and input manually desired ip and dns and the rest....
or change ip in ftp

hello Pere, did it solve the problem.
DHCP is the most obvious problem in this case but might be lot's of stuff!?

i uncheck dhcp and now i think it s ok now but all others connections with my router have option ""always give same ip adress to device"" but on my dreambox conection that option is dimed and i cant select

It's a well known issue for DM500, i think that best practice is to disable DHCP and manually assign IPs.
