    I think you can get the information through Device manager

      If you got pc´, just install "putty".
      Connect via putty "Protocol = telnet" on your dreambox.
      Standard user is = root and password (if not changed) nothing.
      Then just type "df -a" and you see the capacity of your mounted harddisk.

          I check for available disk space on my Dreambox when I press PVR button on remote control.
          Below is the text on the screen in the format xx GB (xx h xx m) of free disk space
