yes, if your image have the internet stick driver you can use it. You have to choose the rigth image and the rigth stick. Not all stick can work with the dreambox.
i prefer the Wlan Bridge. it is simple to use and you don't need any driver on the box.

i thing that your usb will not work on your dm500s. buy a wifi brige like 'Vonets VAP 11G' .

I don't know this wireless usb network but you need to share your network with the box and the computer which must be always on ...

I have my receiver connected to the router with homeplugs. Absolutely brilliant, so easy to set up.
This is another option for you.

I tried home plugs but did not get such good ping times so hard wired RX to router, which gave better result. I used D-Link dhp 300.

Wireless is OK. We run Dreamboxes off GPRS wireless, which is about as slow as you can go. It uses only about 40Mb per full 24 h period.


I use a Huawei 3G router, which I connect by wireless extender to DM500. No hick-ups with good servers.
