how to make change on db500s which is connected in my brother home

hi guys i need your help, my brother got a db500s box which is working on private server with many problems, and he don't know any thing. so he is asking me to add another private server info in his db500s through online over the internet connection.

he is ready to Power ON the Box when i am adding another private server info in his box.

but my question is here how to connect to his box by setting in my home.

you can also use msn messenger and use remote support
also you can use telnet but i don't know how
